Plug & play model - Why does full equipment pay off?

When sending employees on contract to the Netherlands, the last thing you want to worry about is furniture logistics. Renting empty flats in the Netherlands (the so-called. kale huur) involves buying furniture and connecting utilities on your own. This is a cost and wasted time.

W POLSOLIDE we offer the model "Plug & Play". Your employees enter a finished, warm home. They don't have to bring their own pots and pans or bedding. Everything necessary for normal functioning is on site.

Standard without bunk beds

The quality of your holiday is our top priority. That is why in our accommodation (both houses and flats) we never use bunk beds. Each employee is guaranteed a comfortable single bed with a hotel mattress.

For engineering staff, wider beds (known as a twijfelaar or double bed) in single rooms are often the norm, making long-term stays much more comfortable.

Safety and certification of SNF and equipment

Equipment is not only a matter of comfort, but also a matter of legal compliance. In the Netherlands, there are strict standards Stichting Normering Flexwonen (SNF), which specify what must be in the workers' accommodation.

As a certified accommodation provider, we ensure that:

  • Each resident was provided with adequate storage space for belongings (lockers).
  • The fridge had sufficient capacity (at least 30 litres per person).
  • The number of burners in the kitchen was adapted to the number of tenants (minimum 4 burners).
  • The ventilation systems in the kitchens and bathrooms were working well.

Technical service and maintenance of standard

White goods can be unreliable, especially when used intensively by groups of workers. What happens if the washing machine breaks down on a Friday evening or the fridge stops cooling? In a private rental model, you are the one who has to look for a professional in the Netherlands.

By cooperating with POLSOLIDE, you receive full technical support. If equipment fails for operational reasons, our technical department will repair or replace it, usually within 24-48 hours.

Media included (all-in)

Full facilities also include utilities. In our accommodation you don't have to worry about signing contracts with energy or water suppliers. All metered charges are included in one fixed rental rate.

Questions about equipment (FAQ)

Are there bunk beds in the rooms?
No. We do not use bunk beds in the POLSOLIDE standard. Each employee is guaranteed a comfortable single bed, which is crucial for comfort and safety.
Do you provide cleaning?
Professional final cleaning after the group's check-out is standard. During the duration of the rental, the employees take care of the tidiness themselves, unless otherwise agreed in the contract (additional option).
What about parking?
Most detached houses have free parking spaces on the property. Flats in city centres (e.g. Rotterdam) have paid parking zones - we do not offer municipal subscriptions due to the lack of registration, so we recommend using paid municipal or P+R car parks.
